• Sophomores
Sophomores are making MAJOR educational decisions for next year.  Do you know what your sophomore has decided?
The 10th grade students visited Norhtwest Technical Center (our local vocational technical training center) in January to view two programs of interest to each student.  Sophomores are being asked to make major decisions about their high school education plans and future career plans; please talk with your child about these options if you are the parent of a sophomore.
Northwest Tech offers a number of outstanding hands-on educational opportunities to our students, and every program offered now includes options to earn college credit, as well.  Students attending Northwest Tech for half-day as a junior and senior will attend Lisbon the other half-day to take the required English, social studies, and PE classes.  Current program offerings include:
    Automotive Technology
    Building Trades
    Criminal Justice
    Culinary Arts
    Early Childhood Education
    Environmental Technology
    Graphic Communications
    Intro to Health Careers
    Precision Metal working (welding)
    Allied Health (seniors only)
    Pharmacy Tech (one year program)
    * If you have any questions about the offerings, please contact us at the LCS Guidance Office or call Northwest Tech at 393-4570 to schedule a parent visit if you would like.
